Cold weather conditions continue in Punjab, Haryana

Chandigarh, December 19: Cold weather conditions continued in Punjab and Haryana with Adampur becoming the coldest place in both the states, MeT official stated.

 Chandigarh recorded a low of 8.2 degrees Celsius. In Haryana, Ambala recorded the minimum temperature at 7.6 degrees Celsius.

Adampur in Punjab’s Jalandhar district recorded a low of 4.1 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.

 Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala experienced cold weather conditions at 6, 8.7 and 7.6 degrees Celsius, respectively, up to two notches above normal.

 Chandigarh recorded a low of 8.2 degrees Celsius. In Haryana, Ambala recorded the minimum temperature at 7.6 degrees Celsius.

Bhiwani, Hisar, Karnal, Rohtak and Narnaul recorded a low of 6.5, 7.1, 6.5, 8.7 and 8.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.
