Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming film which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Parineeti Chopra, will also feature Danny Denzongpa and Sarika in pivotal roles.

Known for classics and family dramas like Hum Aapke Hain Koun.! and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’, filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is currently gearing up for his seventh directorial venture, ‘Oonchai’.

the ensemble cast of the film which earlier boasted about stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher will also star Danny Denzongpa and Sarika in pivotal roles.The film is reported to go on floors this October in Nepal and will have a 40 day schedule.

The news portal also quoted a source close to the development which said that the film is a beautiful slice of life tale of four friends, who are aged 60 plus. The four friends will be essayed by Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa. On the other hand, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Parineeti Chopra will be the three women on board.

The source also revealed that overseas stint will be followed by short schedules in Mumbai and Delhi before calling it a wrap, and hence the film will be shot over a period of five months and wrap by March 2022. After Oonchai, Sooraj will begin with the pre-production of his ambitious marriage drama with Salman Khan.
