Netherlands might impose partial lockdown as COVID-19 cases rise

November 13, 2021 01:55 PM

A three-week partial lockdown is expected to start this week in the Netherlands after a recent rise in COVID-19 cases.

While bars and restaurants might be closed early, sporting events will take place without spectators. However, schools, theatres, and cinemas would remain open. Notably, around 85% of the adult Dutch population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
