The RBI's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) on Thursday kept the repo rate unchanged at a record low of 4% for the 10th consecutive time.

The reverse repo rate also remains unchanged at 3.35%. The reverse repo rate is the rate at which RBI borrows money from banks.

"Accommodative stance" will continue as long as needed, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said.
