Amid controversy over the poster of the documentary film 'Kaali', TMC MP Mahua Moitra on Tuesday said, "To me, Kaali is a meat-eating and alcohol-accepting goddess."
TMC distanced itself from her remarks. "The comments made by [Moitra] and her views expressed on Goddess Kali have been made in her personal capacity...
All India Trinamool Congress strongly condemns such comments," it tweeted.
