Indonesia summoned an official of the UN on Monday after the intergovernmental organisation expressed concerns about certain recently-ratified revisions to the country's criminal code.
Last week, the UN said the new laws could result in the erosion of press freedom, privacy and human rights.
The controversial revisions include the criminalisation of sex outside marriage, among other activities.
