Paying tribute to the Indian soldiers for their sacrifice on Vijay Diwas, the government shared a picture of Pakistan surrendering to India after the 1971 war.
Vijay Diwas or Victory Day is commemorated on December 16, marking the end of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and the liberation of Bangladesh.
"We salute the valour...of our brave hearts," the government tweeted.
