New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that hundreds of free Apple AirTags will be handed out in a bid to reduce the number of car thefts.
Adams called the AirTag an "amazing piece of ingenuity" and an "excellent tracking device".
A local nonprofit has already donated 500 AirTags to the city and there'll be a fundraiser to buy more.
