Microsoft will fire nearly 160 employees in Washington state, media reported citing a regulatory filing of the company.
As per the reports, the layoffs are not part of the global job cuts announced by Microsoft in January that would affect 10,000 employees.
"Organisational and workforce adjustments are a necessary and regular part of managing our business," a company spokesperson said.
