Talking straight from the heart here today at hotel hyatt regency on the occasion of giving away 'The Times Edupreneurs Awards' for excellence in educational sphere, the Local Government, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister, Punjab, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu said that education is the pivotal force around which the whole society revolves whose all round development is closely interlinked with it."

Laying great emphasis on the significance of the quality education, the minister said that the main purpose of the education is to make people self-sufficient and confident enough to shed the fear of failure and face the challenges of life head on. He also said that a robust educational system produces enlightened minds that bring glory to the nation.
Earlier, the minister was honoured by the Times Group and he later gave away the awards to various educational institutions for rendering yeoman's service in the field of education.
