3-day All-India Poetess Conference concludes

CHANDIGARH: Among 7 crown All-India Poetess Conference (AIPC) awards, Simrat Sumera has conferred with the Miss AIPC India award during concluding day of 3-day AIPC at Punjab Arts Council here today . Dr. Sarbjeet Kaur Sohal, President of  Punjab Sahit Akademi was conferred with Miss AIPC Punjab award.

Sunita Murti from Bangalore was adjusted as Miss Beauty with Brain ,  Sunita Shrutishree from Delhi as Miss Trip Hat Trick , Ashwani from Gulbarga as Miss AIPC Teen, Harki Virk from Chandigarh as Miss Chandigarh  and Jaspreet Sheena from Gurdaspur as Miss Popular. 

In all 60 awards were given to poetess during occasion.

The others getting awards are as : Amrita Pritam Award; Surinder Geet from Canada , Gargi Awards : Surjeet Kaur from Canada, Vidyotma Award ; Snighda Rani Gagoi from Sibsagar, Kaude Andal Awards; Dr Pratibha Mudlair from Mysore, Mirabai Award; Sunanada S. Mule from Belgaum, Laldyed Awards; Surajita Handique from Dibrugarh, Taj Mughalini Award; Dr. Meghna Sharma from Bikaner, Mahadevi Verma Award; Dr Vijay Lakshmi Kosgi from Gulbarga, Subhadra Kumari Chauhan Award; Prof Rajnanda Gargi from Belgaum, Jahan Ara Award; Dr Nalini Vibha Nazil from Himachal , Habba Khatoon Award; Beena Budki from Jammu, Akka Mahadevi Award; Shanta Pastapur from Gulbarga, Janabai Award; Dr. T.M. Geetanjali from Mysore, Bahinabai Award; Manjula Devi from Tumkur, Umrao Jan Ada Awards; Kuljeet Kaur Ghazal from Australia, Begum Samru Award; Harki Virk Crown from Australia, Mahjabin Meena Kumari Award; Mangala  Kapra from Gulbarga, Sarojni Naidu Award; Alvareen Dkhar from Shilong, Taru Datta Award; Raman Preet Kaur from Jalandhar, , Nirbhaya Damini Award; Dr. Sarabjeet Kaur Soha from Chandigarh.

The nine poetesses who got Sulabh Sahiyta Academy Awards are ; Lopamudara Award; Sukhvinder Amrit from Ludhiana, Maitreyi Award; Chenamma Vallepure from Bidar, Ansuya Award; Dr Suman Sharma from Bhavnagar, Sahjobai Award; Dr Shweta Dipti from Kathmandu, Mother Teresa Award; Dalbir Kaur form England, Kasturba Award; Jayashree Bykod from Bangalore, Shri Man Arvindarashram Award; Sumangala Kothari from Gulbarga, Man Sharda Award; Usha Bhadoriya from Bhopal and Prabhavati Award; Dr Sunita Suman from Begusaria.

The 15 AIPC special awards were announced to GS Saroja from Shimoga, Lalita Belvadi from Bangalore, Ishrat Jahan Zaib from Bijapur, Dr. Supriya P. from Kasargod, Aradhana Srivastava from Agra, Puja Gupta from Nepal, Dr. Hena Haridasan from Kannur, Pomila Chetia from from Golaghar, Sarojini Bhadrapur from Pune, Surinder Kawal from Amritsar, Mitali Charkrawarty from Jorhat, Satinder Kahlon from Batala, Dr. Deepa Mathew from Kannur, Dr Radhamani C from Ernakulam and  Simrat Gagan from Amritsar.

Navratn Nariyan the life time achievement awards were announced to Satinder Kaur Pannu for exemplary contribution in social service, Jaspreet Chinna from Gurdaspur for exemplary contrition in education field and Dr Roshan Jacub from Buladnshahr for administrative service.

Speaking during occasion,  Dr. Lari Azad , founder-AIPC said that we are the only non-government body which awards 60 poetesses of every known and less known languages of Indian comprising an amount of Rs. 150000.
