CHICAGO - New versatile musical group “The Harmony” has been launched in Chicago. Three talented musician singer friends Rakshak, Vikrant, and Vijay came together to put their passion of melodious singing on the forefront of the musical entertainment scene of Midwest in general and Chicagoland in particular.
The group came together with interesting twists and turns of the events. In short, while on one hand Rakshak knew Vikrant as a student of one of his best friends who is a classical singer and a teacher herself, on the other he also knew Vijay as his IT colleague for over a decade. Over time and through numerous conversations among each other, Rakshak realized that Vikrant and Vijay also shared the same passion of melodious singing. Together, they felt a void of an entity in the Chicagoland area that offers a complete musical experience that is “beyond business”. With a goal of creating the mostmemorable melodies instead of typical transactional musical events for the music lovers of all ages and backgrounds, they started “The Harmony” group!
Some of the popular genres of band's offering include Bollywood music of the last 5 decades, ghazals, light classical and sugam sangeet, devotional songs, regional songs in popular languages such Gujarati (including garba and dandiya raas) and Punjabi (including Tappe).
“The Harmony” is set to begin with offering the most diverse range of musical genres and collection of songs, both legendary and popular, in a karaoke and live format. Some of the popular genres of their offering include Bollywood music of the last 5 decades, ghazals, light classical and sugam sangeet, devotional songs, regional songs in popular languages such Gujarati (including garba and dandiya raas) and Punjabi (including Tappe), and so on. They also offer DJ services for all major occasions. While their vision is to grow into a single musical entity that offers their clients a complete “occasion specific entertainment experience” including fusion and instrumental music, artistic/classical/folk dancing, lighting arrangement etc., their mission is to “create and deliver the most pleasantly memorable and enthralling musical memories for all types and sizes of events in a private or a public setup”.
“The Harmony” is set to debut between 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday 10/12/19 at the Hilton in Bolingbrook, IL in front of the Mayor of Bolingbrook and other dignitaries of the Chicagoland.
