Peanut ladoo recipe | moongfali ki laddu

The much-hyped energy bars being sold in the market generally contain sugary coatings and chocolate syrups which are not advisable (especially for fitness enthusiasts!). This calls for a healthy alternative. With simple ingredients from your kitchen, you can make these ladoos and have them completely guilt-free.

Ingredients:
Roasted peanuts : 1 ½ cups
Jaggery : 1 cup
Coconut, dessicated : 1/3 cup
Cardamom powder : ½ tsp
Ghee : As required

Method:
1. Take roasted peanuts in a mixer and grind them into a coarse powder.
2. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan.
3. To it, add the jaggery, stir and cook well till it melts.
4. Once it has melted completely and attained a gooey liquid state, add the desiccated coconut and mix well.
5. Next, add the roasted peanuts powder, cardamom powder and mix till everything binds well together.
6. Add ghee if it is dry or for taste.
7. Remove from flame and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
8. Grease your palms with ghee, take lemon-sized portions from the mixture and shape into a smooth ladoos.
9. Delicious, yet healthy peanut ladoos are ready to gobble.
