FIA President Rajesh Patel Gives Facelift to the FIA
Its’s Community 'Visa-Passport Question Answer Session' on 15 April 2021

SCHAUMBURG – The Federation of India Associations (FIA) has announced its Year-2021 programs of which the ‘India Independence Day Car Rally’ is the star attraction. It was announced at the press conference that was convened at the Schaumburg Banquet Hall here on 07 April 2021. FIA President Rajesh Patel presided over the Press Conference. Rajesh Patel said that the year 2021 is going to witness a long series of events that shall attract an active community involvement.

FIA Executive present at the Press Conference included: Rajesh Patel, Hemant Patel, Sohan Joshi, Vinod Patel, Prachi Jaitley, Amar Upadhyay, Hina Trivedi, and Tribhuvan Gaur.

Rajesh Patel informed that the FIA is soon organizing, a ‘Visa-Passport Question Answer Session’ with the local Consul General of India here. This virtual community interaction has been scheduled for 15 April 2021 from 6 pm to 7 pm through Zoom. Rajesh Patel has invited all the leaders and members of all the organizations to join the meeting. During the meeting the Consul General is expected to brief the community on the Visa permissibility as well as the benefits that have been withdrawn from the OCI Card. The National Federation Of India Associations (NFIA) of which FIA is part of is also the co-sponsor of this session. FIA Trustee Sohan Joshi informed that the NFIA President Ajay Dubey of New York will also be present during the session.

Rajesh Patel also announced hosting a ‘Job Assistance Evening’ whereat guidance and assistance will be provided to the those who have lost their jobs due to Coved-19. Rajesh Patel stated that its aim is to rehabilitate those who have been adversely impacted in their profession due to the ongoing pandemic. FIA’s member Surya Dutta will organize this event as part of FIA’s IT segment initiative, he added.

FIA President Rajesh Patel also informed that FIA shall soon announce a ‘FIA Student Benefit Initiative’ which is still in making at the drawing-board level.

Talking about the ‘India Independence Day Car Rally,’ Rajesh Patel elaborated that the Rally not only will be a safeguard against the spread of the Coved-19, but also bring novelty to the traditional way of doing parade. Adding to his thought, FIA Secretary Vinod Patel stated that an array of new features are being added to the ‘India Independence Day Car Rally’ in order to make it an attraction for the community to participate. He said the rally form of celebrations will also set aside Government embargos on public gathering under the corona protection plans.

Making a statement during the Press Conference, FIA Executive Vice President Hemant Patel stated that going forward, the FIA will attend all the National Events; and if needed, the shall participate in the Protests as well. This will be done as an organization. FIA Vice President Tribuvan Gaur also touched upon some of the activities he has participated in. Hina Trivedi highlighted the significance of participating in the India-centric events.
