Ex-Sri Lanka captain Sanath Jayasuriya said he's confident that Asia Cup, scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka next month, will take place despite the country's ongoing political and financial crisis.
"There's no threat to the tournament. In Sri Lanka, everyone loves cricket," he stated.
Meanwhile, the Asian Cricket Council has reportedly kept Bangladesh on standby to host the tournament.
