Apple, which largely keeps the specifics of iPhone's hardware components confidential, has admitted that it uses Sony camera sensors for iPhones.
"We've been partnering with Sony for over a decade to create the world's leading camera sensors for iPhone," Apple CEO Tim Cook tweeted.
In the past, iPhone teardowns pointed to Sony image sensors, but Apple never confirmed the same.
