Argentina's Lionel Messi wore a red ribbon sent by journalist Rama Pantarotto's mother around his ankle in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final.
Rama gave it as a good luck charm to Messi after he missed a penalty against Iceland at the 2018 WC, resulting in a 1-1 tie. Rama said his mother loved Messi more than her own son.
