North Korean hackers have stolen $721 million worth of cryptocurrency assets from Japan since 2017, Nikkei reported citing a study by UK-based blockchain analysis provider Elliptic.
As per the report, this is equal to 30% of the total of such losses globally.
North Korea has stolen a total of $2.3 billion in cryptocurrency from businesses from 2017-2022, it added.
