Punjab Public Relations Officers Association condoles demise of Surjit Singh Punjabi

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Public Relations Officers Association has expressed profound shock over the demise of Mr. Surjit Singh Punjabi who passed away here today after illness. He was 76. He has left behind his wife, 4 daughters and 3 sons. One of his sons Mr. Amandeep Singh Punjabi is serving as the District Public Relations Officer, Sangrur.

Deeply condoling the demise of Mr. Surjit Singh Punjabi, the association described him as embodiment of honesty, integrity and dedication who served as the Photo Officer in the Punjabi University, Patiala with devotion.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, Director Mrs. Anindita Mitra, Additional Director Dr. Senu Duggal and Dr. Opinder Singh Lamba have also condoled the demise of Mr. Surjit Singh Punjabi.

The association members observed 2 minutes of silence as a mark of respect to Mr. Surjit Singh Punjabi and prayed to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family members and relatives to bear this enormous loss.

The cremation of Mr. Surjit Singh Punjabi was held today at cremation ground of Shekhupur, Patiala. On the occasion, many of his relatives and near and dear ones were present.
